Amanda Lamb (born 19 July 1972) is an English real estate expert and TV presenter and model. Her most famous work was for her role as host for A Place in the Sun from 2001 to 2009 and You Deserve This House. Amanda Lamb was a British TV presenter as well as a property expert who was born in Portsmouth on 19th July 1972. Amanda Lamb began working as an Estate Agent in Portsmouth before she moved into modeling. The year 1994 was the year that Amanda took over the role of Widow in the midst of a massive shift within the financial sector. Amanda was the most successful presenter ever to grace television, with a show known as 'A place in the Sun. She presented it during five consecutive years. She also served as Scotland's official face Widows for ten years. She has announced in 2020 that she will make this the year that she will present a brand new show entitled My MortgageFree Home. Amanda has her own spot on the beach located in the southern part of Italy. In an interview with Closer, she said that she weighs around 10 stone 7 pounds.
