Ullerup's initial role was as Julia Brynn on the remake the television show Battlestar Galactica in 2006, that aired on Sci Fi Channel. Ullerup was Ashley Magnus for the first and the second seasons on Sanctuary before the character was created. The character was the topic of heated discussion amongst viewers who wanted her to be back in the future on shows. However, Sanctuary ended up being removed in the year 2012.
