old she started her character in the role of Jackie Burkhart in the Fox
television series That'70s Show (1998-1906). Kunis has voiced Meg Griffin for
Fox's animated series Family Guy since 1999. Her breakthrough role in a film
was in 2008 as Rachel in the romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Her
role in Black Swan (2010), the psychological thriller, gained her praise from
critics. She was nominated for the SAG Award as well as the Golden Globe Award
for best supporting actress. Her other notable films include Max Payne (2008)
and The Book of Eli (2011) The romantic comedy Friends with Benefits (2010),
the fantasy movie Oz the Great and Powerful (2013) where she plays the Wicked
Witch of the West. Ted (2012) and Bad Moms (2016) are also among her most
viewed films. Milena Markovna Kunis was the child of a Ukrainian Jewish family.
She was born on 14 August 1983 in Chernivtsi (now Ukraine) to a Ukrainian
Jewish mother and father. Mark Kunis, her mechanical engineer father, works as
a taxi driver. Kunis has an elder brother, Michael. Her parents were Holocaust
survivors. Her mother tongue and the typical language spoken in the family is
Russian.
