She was raised by her two sisters Kaitlyn, and Carolyn. Kelly hasn’t provided any details regarding her parents (names and professions) however. While growing up she was often at sports events with her father, such as baseball games, which led her to fall in love with the sport. Kelly earned a bachelor's degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson in South Carolina when she was finished with high school. She later enrolled in the University of Miami, where she earned a master's degree in Broadcast Journalism. Kelly was a part of the ACC Digital Network for her internship. She also worked as an assistant in the production department, following when she was given an official job offer, and became a part of the ACC Digital Networks. Kelly started her professional career as a sports reporter and also did interviews on Saturdays during "ACC Kickoff", a special news program that only airs on Saturdays. Through 2013, she stayed with the network, where she was also a part of the "ACC NOW" show. After her time with ACC Digital Network was over She joined Fox Sports Florida as a sideline journalist. Her dedication to her job has earned her a position with Fox Sports Sun. She is the reporter for the Tampa Bay Rays and Orlando Magic franchises and provides stories about these teams.
