Sarah Hyland

Sarah Hyland was born in New York City to actors Melissa D. Canaday and Edward James Hyland. Her career began in the business at the age of 4 when she began doing voice overs as well as commercial work. Private Parts was her first film. The Object of My Affection was her second film. She appeared in Another World (1964), as Rain Wolfe, a child who was found in a park and fostered by Josie. Sarah was able to collaborate with Amy Carlson ("Josie" on AW) several more times: Falcone (2000), Law & Order (1990) and Law & Order: Trial by Jury (2005). Sarah was cast to portray the character of "Audrey Hepburn" in Jennifer Love Hewitt’s The Audrey Hepburn Story (2001). The following year, she was named "Molly" in ABC's The Wonderful World of Disney: Annie (1999). It starred Kathy Bates, Audra Mcdonald, Victor Garber, Kristin Chenoweth and JoeGould's Secret (2000) and Falcone (2000). Sarah was a vocalist tapping, jazz, and hip-hop in addition to film and TV work. Sarah, a New Yorker, also appeared as an invited artist in her tap and Theatre dance classes at "Reel to Real" Lincoln Center. She was raised by her mother until she was two years old. of age. She then went to the public school. She was accepted to PPAS in 6th grade. The school was where she stayed until her graduation in 2008. Sarah was 18 when she moved to Los Angeles. She landed on a plane named "My American Family" within two weeks. Once she was accepted, the name was changed into Modern Family (2009). Sarah is currently the "Haley Dunphy", an the oldest Dunphy children. Modern Family (2009) won many awards, including the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.
