Magda Apanowicz

Magda Apanowicz is a Canadian actress from Canada. She is most well-known for her roles in ABC Family's Kyle XY as Andy Jensen and Syfy's Caprica science fiction drama series as Lacy Rand. Emily Hartwell, a science fiction actress, was born Maya Hartwell. She also appeared in the Netflix thriller series You as Sandy. Apanowicz who is Polish-American, spent the ninth grade in Poland. She lived there along with her uncle. She also attended an elementary school in Jelenia Gora. She then went on to study at Vancouver Film School. The brother of her introduced her to Pulp Fiction at the age 10 and she was immediately attracted to acting. In 2002 she made her first acting appearances in the TV series Jeremiah. She also made a brief appearance on John Doe's TV series. From 2007 to 2009, she was the Kyle XY role of Andy Jensen. She appeared in Every Second Counts, a Hallmark Channel original film in 2008. In 2009, Apanowicz was cast in the role of Lacy Rand (a series regular) in the telenovela Caprica along with Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani. Later, she appeared in Hellcats. In 2012, she guest starred in the second season of Jane Espenson's web series of romantic comedy, Husbands.In 2013, Apanowicz was cast as Emily in the series Continuum In addition, she was in the Eli Roth horror film The Green Inferno as Samantha. The Green Inferno, although it was produced in 2012, it was released in the world in the year 2015. Apanowicz was cast to be the character Angela in Volition an science fiction thriller film. It premiered in 2020. In 2019, Apanowicz played the role of Sandy in the second season of the Netflix thriller You.
