Emily Swallow

American actor Emily Swallow, born December 18, 1979. She is well-known for her roles in the role of Kim Fischer on The Mentalist and as Amara / The Darkness in the 11th season of Supernatural. She also appears as The Armorer in the live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian and had a minor role in the role of Emily in the video game The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on the 18th of December 1979 in Washington, D.C. Her family was raised in Sterling, Virginia, as in Jacksonville, Florida. Swallow began her acting career at Stanton College Preparatory School. She also took part in professional and amateur productions of theatre. Swallow graduated from Stanton College's Preparatory School in the city of Jacksonville, in 2001, earning an Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Eastern Studies. She then went on to study to earn an MFA in Acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. In 2008 she made her movie debut with The Lucky Ones, a military-themed drama. She was the star of the world premieres of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. Also, she starred alongside Mark Rylance in Louis JenkinsThe production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. [citation needed] In 2010 she won the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theater Club. The show is about their hilarious misadventures as they deal with very various life situations.
